Apicius Armenia International School of Hospitality and Maison Marom Group of Companies continue their strategic collaboration, marking an important step toward advancing practical and professional education in Armenia’s hospitality and gastronomy sector. This partnership aims to create a platform where the educational environment and real-world experience are seamlessly intertwined, fostering the growth of local specialists and raising industry standards.
As part of this collaboration, Arthur Gevorgyan, Senior Pastry Chef of the Maison Marom, conducted a master class for students of the Apicius Armenia.
During the session, participants were guided through every stage of the authentic Italian gelato-making process. Chef Gevorgyan also shared professional insights on balancing flavors, achieving ideal textures, and perfecting presentation. The students not only observed but also practiced alongside the expert, gaining valuable hands-on experience and knowledge.

“Gastronomy evolves through knowledge, experience, and continuous innovation. When working with students, I find it essential not only to teach techniques but also to shape a professional mindset - one that values product quality, safety, technological discipline, and flavor precision. I am convinced that international knowledge exchange accelerates professional growth and enhances Armenia’s role on the global gastronomic stage,” - Arthur Gevorgyan noted.
In July, the Melonpan company - the Maison Marom Group’s gastronomic branch - and the Green Rock Foundation, the implementing partner of the Apicius Armenia project, signed a memorandum of cooperation, strengthening their strategic partnership in hospitality education.
Maison Marom is the first scholarship partner of the Apicius Armenia School. Through this collaboration, students will have the opportunity to participate in real projects, receive mentorship, and deepen their practical skills while working alongside leading industry professionals. These initiatives are designed to prepare future specialists in accordance with international standards.
