Armenian Restaurant Association today has issued a statement, which reads:
“The Association expresses deep concerns over the unprecedented and often unfounded inspections, operative measures, and interrogations of the staff, carried out in recent weeks by the Armenian State Revenue Committee, in particular by tax authorities, and accompanied with violation of the law in many cases.
As law-abiding and conscientious taxpayers, member organizations of the Armenian Restaurant Association have always stood by the state, especially in difficult times, and have made a significant contribution to economic development and representation of Armenia on the global scene.
The Armenian Restaurant Association has encouraged and welcomed tax reforms and now it calls on relevant authorities not to return to the repressive methods used in the past.”
