Menu Group has announced the acquisition of Eda.ua project.
Founder and CEO of Menu Group Vahan Kerobyan and Managing Partner of SOL Ventures Levon Oganesyan told about the acquisition of the service in an interview to Kommersant.
“We have started the process of stage-by-stage integration of Eda.ua in a unified ecosystem of Menu Group, which should be finished in the coming months,” Levon Oganesyan said.
Menu Group will launch Menu.ua service in Ukraine, which will supply food in Kiev and other cities, and the redirection of traffic from Eda.ua is previewed.
Menu Group operates in Belarus, Georgia and Armenia.
According to Vahan Kerobyan, the company has raised USD 6m investment, half of which was invested by Levon Oganesyan and other investors in 2017. The company plans to invest USD 10m in Menu Group in the coming 2 years, Vahan Kerobyan said.
“We are interested in the Russian market. We see significant potential, especially in small cities, as Yandex.Eda and Delivery Club are aiming mainly at Moscow and Saint Petersburg,” he said.
