Gastronomic Camp Armenia to be held in June

Armenia will host Gastronomic Camp Armenia off-site event on June 19-22.

According to the organizers, Gastro Camp will be held twice a year in a new region of Armenia. The main purpose of the project is gastronomic expedition in given region, aimed at discovering its local produce, traditions, recipes, cooking techniques. The Armenian cooks will work in cooperation with chefs invited from different countries. 

On June 19 and 20 the team of chefs will travel in Kotayk marz in search of the best produce, farms and traditional recipes. 

The educational and entertainment part of the camp for professionals and those interested in getting acquainted with the sphere and acquiring new knowledge will take place on June 21 and 22. 

The invited specialists: owner of Ponomarev Chef`s Academy (Ukraine) Sergey Ponomarev, Chef of SOE restaurant and representative of Estonia on Bocuse d`Or Europe Pavel Guryanov, President of the Association of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers of Northern Caucasus Anna Yelovikova, Brand Chef of Rational AG Aleksey Glushchenko. 

This year the event will be conducted in Kotayk marz, under the aegis of marz governor Romanos Petrosyan. 

The general partner of the project is The Horeca LLC, leading distributor of professional kitchen equipment in Armenia.

The official partner and platform for the event - Best Resort Aghveran Hotel. 

The partner of GastroCamp Armenia is Hospitality Management Group, which unites restaurants Charles, Salon Armenian, DOC Therapy Bar, Kilikia Beer House and Claude Monet. The partner of the gastronomic expedition is Nairian cosmetic company.
