“Ukrvinprom” calls for sanctions against winemakers from Georgia and Armenia

Director general of Ukrvinprom concern, Volodymyr Kucherenko, has called on the Ukrainian government to impose sanctions against wine and brandy producers from Armenia and Georgia.

Citing Ukrinform news agency, TASS reports that Kucherenko, in particular, said:

“Ukrvinprom has been asking the government for already a year to impose sanctions against a number of wine and brandy producers from Georgia and Armenia, whose products are still supplied to the Russian market. Despite the promises, these goods continue to be sold in our country as well.”
