Armenia Wine to produce exclusive Henri Verneuil wines

A Memorandum on the Exclusive Production of Wines Under the Name of Henri Verneuil was Signed Between Armenia Wine Winery and Henri Verneuil's Son.

Armenia Wine hosted the closing ceremony of the “National Film: Universal Heritage; Review, Preservation, and Publicity Issues’’ scientific conference organized by the National Cinema Center of Armenia and dedicated to French-Armenian prominent director Henri Verneuil's 100th anniversary.

Henri Verneuil's son, Patrick Verneuil Malakian, and many other guests from the United States, France, Russia and Poland were hosted. They got acquainted with the newly opened Museum of Wine History, the 6000-year-old rich culture of Armenian winemaking and its glorious past.



For Armenia Wine Winery the day was also marked by an important event. A memorandum was signed between the company and Patrick Verneuil, on the exclusive right to produce wines under the name of Henri Verneuil.

Vahagn Mkrtchyan, Co-owner, General Director, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Wine History Museum of Armenia noted that it is a great honor for the company to assume the exclusive rights to release wines under the name of the famous film director. He stressed that Armenia Wine will present Armenia and the Armenian to the world with all responsibility and honor.

“The heir of the world-famous film director, in his turn, introduced his gratitude, emphasizing that cinematography cannot overcome 6000-year-old winemaking, but they have one thing in common: in both cases there is a need for greater love and care“, news release reads.
