ARARAT Museum will host Open Doors Days

On December 20 and 21, the ARARAT Museum will host Open Doors Days.

Admission is free.

This year, in addition to the classic tour revealing the history of Armenian brandy and the intricacies of its creation, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the temporary exhibition “Facets of Mastery”, organized in collaboration with the Museum of Folk Art of Armenia.

The exhibition will feature unique examples of Armenian lace and artistic silverwork created using the filigree technique, drawn from the collection of the Museum of Folk Art of Armenia.

“This exhibition is about the essence of Mastery - that invisible gift which, through time, patience, and devotion, transforms material into art. It is mastery, shaped by years of experience and care, that creates Armenian brandy, and the same mastery that weaves delicate Armenian lace thread by thread. Though born of different materials, they speak the same language - the language of creative mastery,” said Zaruhi Saribekyan, Communications Manager of Yerevan Brandy Company.

“The presentation of these objects under the roof of ARARAT is deeply symbolic, as the product created by ARARAT is itself a concentration of taste, diligence, and patience. Exhibiting these artifacts here creates a new cultural atmosphere,” noted exhibition curator Narek Van Ashughatoyan.

On December 20 and 21, special prices will be available at the ARARAT Museum shop.
