Producers of Armenian dry white wine Stork, made from local Kangun grape variety, will export 3,000 bottles to the United Kingdom. The rest of the wine from the 2020 harvest, which made total of 10,000 bottles, will be sold in Armenia and mainly distributed to wine houses and specialized stores. In the UK, Stork will be sold online.
Stork co-founder Karen Tcharakyan has told GastroVino that the company took into account the challenges of last year when making the wine. The progress in terms of quality and taste is notable, he has said, and the products of the coming years will continue surpassing previous batches.
In 2021, Stork co-founders plan to increase the volume of production and do bottling and labeling at the Stork facility, which is now being constructed and equipped.
