“Voskehat” Fest to gather wine makers and lovers in Ashtarak

A brand new “Voskehat” Wine Fest will kick off at 5 p.m. on September 7 in Ashtarak, Armenia.

It is organized by Vine and Wine Foundation of Armenia (VWFA) in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy of Armenia.

The fest will gather wine makers and lovers in the open to open the season and enjoy unlimited Armenian wine.

VWFA has announced that the fest will offer a full program of parallel activities such as:

- Armenian folk live music, songs and dances performed by popular local ethno-bands and artists (Aram Mp3, Vigen Hovsepyan ethno-band, Leyla Saribekyan, Arsen Grigoryan and Tarontsiner);

- Family marathons;

- Workshops on ancient Armenian arts and crafts: pottery, traditional Armenian doll making, and rug weaving;

- Making of Armenian pastry gata and sujuk, the traditional Armenian sweets;

- Award ceremony;

- A kid-friendly program, in a special kid zone.

The organizers have added that free transfer will be available for the visitors of the fest, departing from the Republic Square between 4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. and returning at 22-16:30 and returning at 10 p.m. until midnight.
