Young grapevine leaves and shoots sampling is carried out in the Armenian National Grapevine Collection. The photos of which will be documented in Armenian Vitis Database, Vine and Wine Foundation of Armenia informs.

The aim of the project is to study and collect the genetic resources of grape in Armenia thus preserving the national grapevine germplasm.

As a result of nearly two years of activities, 167 grape genotype passports are registered in the Armenian Vitis database.
