“Wine Business” conference and summer school to be held in Yerevan

On July 17-21, a group of professors from Germany’s Geisenheim University will be in Armenia to give lectures at the “Wine Business” conference and the summer school which will follow the event.

The conference will be held on July 17, at the Best Western Congress Hotel Yerevan, and the summer school will be held in the Agrotechnology Incubator auditorium at the Agrarian University.

The participants of the conference and the summer school will discuss topics important for winemaking and wine business. Among the discussed issues will be wine tourism as a marketing tool, the impact of climate change on the sector, strategic management, entrepreneurship etc.

The working language of the summer school is English. Candidates wishing to participate in the summer school can apply until July 1 by sending CVs and cover letter by completing this form.

The conference is organized at the initiative of Geisenheim University within the framework of cooperation with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), the Vine and Wine Foundation of Armenia and the National Agrarian University of Armenia.
