Luding Group to continue promoting wines from Georgia and Armenia

Ernest Khachaturian, Luding Group Executive Director, said in an interview with RBK that the company will continue to actively promote Georgian and Armenian wines in Russia.

“We see a strong trend for Georgian wines. The country began to actively develop tourism, it has hosted many guests from Russia which, in its turn, led to a sharp increase in demand. Last year alone, we imported almost 5.5 million liters of wine from Georgia. Our key partner in Georgia is the Askaneli brand, one of the largest local wine producers. We are also working on new contracts with other Georgian wineries,” Khachaturian said.

“The second trend is winemaking in Armenia. It has developed rapidly in recent years. Our partners – Karas, Armenia Wine and others – constantly improve the quality of production, and in cooperation with them we offer really interesting wines, including unique ones. The presence of wines from Armenia and Georgia will increase in the assortment of Russian sales points, bars and restaurants. They have a huge potential for this,” said Luding Group CEO.
