On April 28 and 29 Armenian Wines blind tasting competition will take place in Best Western Plus Congress hotel.
During the two days a 30-member commission will taste and evaluate the wines.
The best wines that will meet the quality threshold and get 85 points and more will be granted Wines of Armenia quality certification brandmark and be presented on www.winesofarmenia.store joint online sales platform of Armenian wines launched in Europe.
43 Armenian winemaking companies with 147 wines will participate in the blind tasting competition.
To ensure the high quality and transparency of the competition the work of the tasters-evaluators will be coordinated by experienced experts highly qualified in the field of wine sensitization.
The contest is organized by the Vine and Wine Foundation of Armenia in cooperation with the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ).
